3. Purpose of the Application

Our Teacher Portal and Parent Portal PWA is designed with a single purpose: to provide you with convenient access to information about your child's educational activities.

The application is used solely for:

  • Displaying your child's attendance records
  • Showing exam results and academic performance
  • Providing access to school notices and announcements
  • Displaying fee information and payment records
  • Showing homework assignments and related activities
  • Authenticating your identity to ensure only authorized users can access the information

We do not use your information for any other purpose, including advertising, marketing, analytics, or data analysis.

5.1 Location and Camera Access (Teacher Attendance Only)
Location and Camera Permissions:

The application may request access to your device's location and camera permissions, but only for teachers using the attendance feature. These permissions are used solely for the purpose of marking attendance and are subject to strict geo-fencing restrictions.

How Location and Camera Permissions Work:

  • Purpose: Location and camera access is requested only when teachers need to mark their attendance through the application
  • Geo-Fencing Restriction: Location access will only be allowed and functional within the school/college's dedicated geo-fencing location. The attendance feature will not work outside the designated school/college premises
  • Camera Usage: Camera access may be used for verification purposes during attendance marking, but only within the geo-fenced school/college location
  • No Continuous Tracking: Location is accessed only when you actively use the attendance feature. We do not track your location continuously or when you are not using the attendance feature
  • No Location Storage: Location data is used only for verification during attendance marking and is not stored or shared
5.2 Permission Control

You have full control over these permissions:

  • You can grant or deny location and camera permissions when prompted by your device
  • You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings
  • If you deny these permissions, you may not be able to use the teacher attendance feature, but all other features of the application will continue to work normally
  • For parents, location and camera permissions are never requested as these features are not available in the Parent Portal
Security Note:

The geo-fencing restriction ensures that attendance can only be marked when you are physically present at the school/college premises, providing an additional layer of security and verification for attendance records.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Regular security assessments and updates
  • Access controls and user permissions
  • Secure server infrastructure
  • Geo-fencing restrictions for location-based features

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are designed for use by teachers and parents to access information about students. We take the privacy of children very seriously.

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws:

If you notice any incorrect information displayed in the application, please contact the school administration office. They will review and correct the information in the school's management system, which will then be reflected in the application.

8.3 Account Deletion/Deactivation
Account Deletion Policy:

Account deletion or deactivation can only be processed by visiting the school/college administration office in person. For security and verification purposes, we require physical presence at the administration office to process any account deletion or deactivation requests.

To request account deletion or deactivation:

  1. Visit the school/college administration office in person
  2. Provide valid identification (CNIC or other government-issued ID)
  3. Submit a written request for account deactivation
  4. The administration will verify your identity and process the request
  5. Your account will be deactivated, and you will no longer have access to the application

Note: Account deletion requests cannot be processed via email, phone, or through the application itself. Physical presence at the administration office is mandatory for security and verification purposes.

9. Data Retention

Since we do not collect or store any additional data beyond what is in the school's management system, data retention is managed entirely by the school administration. Educational records, including attendance, exam results, and other academic information, are retained in accordance with applicable education laws and regulations.

When an account is deactivated through the process described in Section 7.3, the account access is removed, but educational records may be retained by the school as required by law.

10. Cookies and Session Management

Our PWA uses minimal session cookies only to maintain your login session while you are using the application. These cookies are:

  • Used solely for authentication and session management
  • Not used for tracking, analytics, or advertising
  • Automatically deleted when you log out or close your browser

We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences, but disabling session cookies will prevent you from logging into the application.
